- Protecting and Restoring Jefferson’s Amazing Natural Resource
Bobo Creek has been the centerfold of our community for generations. Now is the time to protect its water quality and habitat.
Bobo creek is simply amazing, from its rippling current, to its dragonfly splendor in the summer months. Many folks in the City of Jefferson grew up playing at Copeland Park, splashing in the Creek’s water. Over the past few decades, the fish populations have dwindled, and the Burien dragon toads are few and scattered, and the water at times sullied by our local wastewter treatment plant. This is why our non profit was founded - to protect and restore this amazing community gem!
We Are the Grassroots - and We will Fight to Protect our Bobo!
We employ professional environmentalists who have the skill, and passion to protect our creek’s water quality, and habitat. Our organization relies on the Jefferson' community, and folks beyond to support our work.
From the icy glaciers of Bobo Creek’s headwaters an Umbo Mountain, to the confluence with the Marbled Sea, the creek is something to behold. Together we can protect this beautiful place, and the creatures that inhabitat its waters and shore. (Image to the left is Pearlmuse Mussel (Anstogata, countdracula)).
